Bostic and Braun earn CoSIDA / ESPN the Magazine First Team Academic All-District honors
GOLDEN, Colo. – Colorado School of Mines' Chris Bostic and Trevor Braun have both earned College Sports Information Directors of America / ESPN the Magazine First Team Academic All-District VII (College Division) honors as announced today by CoSIDA.
Bostic, a senior defender from Erie, Colo. (Peak to Peak H.S.), is a Mechanical Engineering major with a 3.86 cumulative grade point average. Bostic was selected as the 2010 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Academic Player of the Year and was a unanimous First Team Academic All-RMAC pick this season.
The third-ranked Orediggers (15-1-1, 12-1-1 RMAC), the 2010 RMAC Regular-Season Champions, will play either the #4-seed Metro State or the #5-seed Mesa State in the semifinals of the 2010 RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament on Friday, Nov. 5th at 11:00 am the CSM Soccer Stadium. The winner will advance to the RMAC Championship on Sunday, Nov. 7th at 12:00 pm.
