Regis University defeats Mines, 1-0

GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines women’s soccer fell to Regis University by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the CSM Soccer Stadium.

The lone goal was scored in the 20th minute of the match by Regis’ Erin Kettmann who was able to find enough space to drive a shot from the right side of the box far post for her third goal of the season.

Regis recorded 12 shots in the match while CSM recorded nine; both teams put four shots on goal. CSM had two corner kicks near the end of the match while Megan Woodworth’s shot was blocked and Aubrey Bagley’s was saved in the final minutes of the match.

The Orediggers (13-3, 9-3 RMAC) will host Nebraska-Kearney on Friday, Oct. 16th at 1:00 pm and CSU-Pueblo on Friday, October 23rd at 3:00 pm. Both games will be played at the CSM Soccer Stadium.
