#6 Nebraska-Kearney defeats Mines, 3-0

KEARNEY, Neb. - The Colorado School of Mines volleyball team fell in straight sets (13-25, 21-25, 25-15) to sixth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday afternoon to closeout the RMAC regular season.

The Lopers hit .339 compared to just .154 for Mines in the match as three different players finished with double-digit kills for UNK.

Jackie Stabell and Sam Johnson led the way for CSM with 10 kills each. Johnson finished the match with a hitting percentage of .471. Melanie Wannamaker added seven kills to go along with five block assists.

Sarah Pekarek finished with a match-high 14 digs while Hannah Margheim added 11 digs. Amanda Massey contributed 29 assists in the match.

The Orediggers (18-9, 12-6 RMAC) will play #11 Metro State in the quarterfinal round of the RMAC Tournament at Metro State on Tuesday, Nov. 8th at 7:00 pm.
